Open: 10am to 4pm
Sewing Machines (November date): During our November event there will be many sewing machines from Lincoln-based Couling Sewing Machines to try (and deals!). Come and chat to Steph, Alan, Steve and the team. They will also have haberdashery etc.
Lacemaking demo / have a go (November date): Come and see Bridget and her fellow lacemakers at work! You’re invited a try lacemaking for yourself, perhaps making a small bookmark. You’ll get a feel for this enduring craft or you can just admire the skills and ask a few questions. No need to book, just stop by their stand. No cost. (Please note that the display lace items are not for sale.)
Knitting Chat & Craft (November date): Join Debbie and Pirjo to chat about knitting, whether you are new to the craft or want to progress. You’ll have the opportunity to to try out their keyring knitting kits at their Chat & Craft table (no need to book). They can also tell you about their knit-a-long dates and more.
Venue: Epic Centre, Lincolnshire Showground, Lincoln LN2 2NA. (Click here for our Location Page with map.)
Parking: Free - and lots of it!
Entrance: £3.50 per person, under 16s free, payable at the door. We take cash (correct money really helpful please) but we can also take card payments. If our disabled visitors have a carer with them, the carer is admitted free.
Dogs: Assistance dogs are of course allowed in. With other dogs please be aware this is a busy event and paws may be at risk of being trod on. Ideally we prefer no dogs but a carried dog is fine. Please don’t bring your dog for training reasons.
Refreshments: There will be an upstairs cafe (lift available) offering delicious cakes, sandwiches and hot / cold drinks. This is run by a separate contractor.
Disabled access / parking: Disabled parking available, plus the Epic Centre has easy disabled access. The loos are suitable for those with mobility issues. Contact the organiser if you require additional planning in advance. The venue usually has a wheelchair available for visitor use
